Train More To Earn More

Being an IT professional for the past 7 years, I would say that IT profession is yet to be recognized as one of the top scaled salary in the land. I know this maybe surprising or common to you but since the global job market has been too aggressive in hiring IT professionals all over the world naturally, the demand goes up and the IT salary increases as well.

However, there are challenges and hurdles that IT professionals should look into in order to remain marketable and competitive that is, their need for constant training and continuous IT certification. As such, the recent IT Salary Survey on IT profession conducted by GlobalKnowledge in conjunction with TechRepublic has somehow placed Project Management on top of the ranking by job factor. This means that if you want to scale up then you better think of having a PMP training in order to qualify to be a Project Manager. In short, as an IT profession you need to train more to earn more.
